Importing the Lecture Videos

If you are going to use the pre-recorded lecture videos from the department, these are easily transfered to your UB Learns course using copy and paste.

• Copy and paste the course content tables (video and note links) from this website into ublearns.

• Based on your pacing, you can add or remove rows using the Table Editor functionality of UB Learns.

• Before you make the content available to students, you should test each link to make sure it is working correctly.

  • Video links should take you to a video hosted on UB’s streaming server Panopto.

  • Note links should take you to a pdf file shared on UB Box.

• In the event that a link is not working, you should edit the link so that it opens in a New Window (see comment below).

The video links and note links are directed out of UB Learns, so you will definitely need to verify the link settings.

Make sure all links directed outside of UB Learns are set to open in a New Window:

• Select the link, click link editor, and make sure the box “Open in New Window” is checked.
